Our son is coming home on a short leave (before he leaves for the Middle East) and I have been searching everywhere for a good deal on airline tickets for his travel. I have heard about discounts one can get based on being in the military, but found nothing really other than an effective stand-by status, which he cannot do this time due to time constraints. Does anyone have an awesome contact/site they can offer up for the best deal possible? It would be so greatly appreciated! I am just trying to help him save the most money, he is going to need it. I’ve been waiting to book my flight at the last minute and finally did by a ticket on Jet Blue. One day later, United has a ticket for $56.00 less than what I paid!!! Yikes!! What can I do???

PS: I leave this Thursday, July 3, so quick answers will be greatly appreaciated.

This has been a long struggle, but, finally, my fiance has his visa to travel from Pakistan to USA. It has costed so much to come this far. The problem is: My resources are almost exhausted. I have only $1000 left and we need to purchase an airline ticket. I have searched online for days….but can’t find a suitable flight OR fare. Any suggestions? Any financial help available for ppl in our situation?
