My son travels with his job. He gave his employer a 1 week notice and the employer wants to deduct the cost of the airfare for the next job he was suppose to be going on in 2 weeks. Can he make my son pay him for this airfare?

I need airfare from Indianapolis, IN to Miami, FL on these days leaving 09/29/2007 coming back 10/04/2007.
I have looked at a lot of sites already and the cheapest I have found so far is $160 a piece and most of them are not the right times I need. (I found one that was $94 from ultimateair but didn’t get me there on time). I need to be on my cruise at 4pm.
I have done priceline, hotwire, cheaptickets, travelocity, orbitz, and all the sites similar that them.

I live in the so.calif area and i desperatley want to visit australia.The problem is,airfare is so unreasonable to that country it makes a trip to europe seem like a bargin.

I heard on CNN that retailers of all kinds are negotiating prices of goods and services due to the recent economic instability. Has anyone ever negotiated prices with an airline?
I have searched every discount search engine already, but I want something lower.
